Windows 10 Tips - Night LightGet a better sleep by using Windows 10's Night light
If you have trouble sleeping at night, or you suffer from the occasional eye ache or eye strain after using your PC for long periods of time, try using Windows 10's Night light.
Available since the Windows 10 Creators Update, Night light offers you the chance to reduce the blue light emitted from your screen (by adjusting colours), which in turn allows you to naturally get into a more sleep ready state.
There are a couple of ways to access Night light.
1. To simply toggle Night light on and off, just click on the Start Menu, type Display and then hit Enter.
On the Display screen you'll see the Night light toggle switch. Click on it to toggle it on or off. (Or tab down to it and hit the spacebar, if you mostly use a keyboard.)
To go into settings then click on Night light settings.
2. To go into Night light settings directly, click on the Start Menu and type Night light.
This opens up Night light settings.
From here, you can turn on Night light, adjust the colour temperature at night, toggle the Schedule night light switch, or set the hours that night light is activated.
That's pretty much all there is to it. If you have trouble sleeping sometimes, give Night light a try and see if it works for you.
