Microsoft extends cut-off date to Windows 10 Upgrade for Assistive Technology usersBut only by 16 days!
Edit: (January 17, 2018) As promised, the upgrade has now come to an end.
Last week, I reminded people that that was the last week to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, for those using or intending to use Assistive Technologies.
As you can see above, Microsoft had set a date of December 31, 2017 to end their Windows 10 free upgrade offer for assistive technology users.
However, Microsoft has recently updated their upgrade page, saying that their offer will expire on January 16th, 2018: Windows 10 upgrade for free, for all assistive technology users.
So, as before, if you'd like to take advantage of this offer and upgrade your Windows 7 or Windows 8 PC to Windows 10 for free, you have about 10 more days left to do so.
There are no checks for assistive technology of any sort. Microsoft is keen to get as many PCs and devices as possible running Windows 10.
